The location, just a short walk from the West End, was convenient for exploring the city. the room itself was comfortable with all the necessary amenities, including a flat-screen TV and free Wi-Fi. the decor was a bit dated, but it didn't detract from the overall experience. One element that stood out to me was the complimentary breakfast offered each morning. It was a nice touch and helped to start the day off right. the staff were friendly and accommodating, making sure that my stay was pleasant. I did notice that there were no pets allowed on site, which may be a downside for some travelers. However, the no smoking policy was appreciated and contributed to a more pleasant atmosphere throughout the hotel. Overall, Ashgrove House offers a good balance of cost and luxury. While it may not be the most extravagant hotel in Edinburgh, it provides a comfortable and convenient stay for those looking to explore the city without breaking the bank.
